Can you believe they did it again!!!

I know my blog is called life in Edinburgh but one can't help but to be over the moon with happiness at the Red Sox winning their second World Series Title in 4 years. After always assuming that they will lose because that is what they do...it has turned expectation on its head and has provided some real hope for fans.

The one thing I worry about is...will my nephews be too optimistic when it comes to their home sports teams? Will they feel utter devastation if they hit a losing streak in the future? Think about it. The Patriots have won multiple Superbowls and now the Red Sox have won two World Series. They don't know what it was like... Oh well. I hope they don't know the utter disappointment that we did as children.

So cheers for the Red Sox!! Boston you're my home!!!
