Great News!

You'll never going to believe the wonderful news we have!! Here goes...we won the pub quiz last Sunday night! I know I couldn't believe it myself, but our team was well diversified and we stuck to our answers. If you're lucky, when you come visit, we'll take you to the quiz. :) Kristin would be pround, I came up with the answer to a question about a George Micheal song...what is the name of the song that says, "I'll never dance again, the way I dance with you".
This weekend also saw us with our first major snow storm...you'll never believe it, there must have been at least and inch on the ground. Of course, this type of snow stopped anyone from going outside for most of Sunday. Oddly, there is not a single plough out on the roads. They sand the roads like mad before they expect snow, or freezing temps (which is a lot more common with the dampness and freezing roads mixing in the winter).
So, now we're into our week. Andy and I just got back from the only good Japanese restaurant in Edinburgh. It was our first time and the food was absolutley divine. I can't believe we have finally found somewhere so good. It has only taken 7 months. Scotland, for a country that eats a lot of fish (being on an island and all), they are quite reluctant to eat it as sushi.
Andy starts a new job on Monday, and I know that he is looking forward to it. He'll be doing full time personal training again. He hasn't even started yet, and already he has people asking him about it from his old job. I know he'll do really well. I'm hoping to get some training sessions out of it myself. :) Reason being...I'm a member of the same gym. :)
Scotland rugby was disappointing last weekend, as Scotland lost to Ireland in a match that saw both teams lacking in any type of finesse. This weekend we're going to the Kings Bar (where we do the quiz) to watch the rugby. Scotland vs Italy. We're meeting our quiz night teammates to enjoy the prize we won, a dinner for two...okay, there are four of us, but the dinner has two starters and main courses...so that should feed the majority.
Lastly, I've included a picture that I took when my lovely ladies were visiting. I'm only posting it because 1. I have not updated pictures, and 2. it actually looks like a pretty good picture. Enjoy. Until next time...all my best. Oh, and by the way, I'm coming home for the marathon in April, so if you're around let me know! Miss you all and love you.
