Holiday Weekend in UK Yippee!!

Well, I'm enjoying another long weekend in the UK. People say that May is their favourite month here. The weather is beautiful, its now light out past 9 at night and we get two bank holidays this month following the four day Easter weekend we had in April. Good stuff.
Speaking of Easter Weekend, I was home in the states for a short period. As you'll see from my photos I was working at the marathon again this year(hmm...maybe you won't get the work part, but the volunteers enjoy it!), and as always it has brought on a renewed commitment to running for me...And yes, the passing thoughts of 'maybe I should run another marathon'. It happens almost every year, but I still can't stop the energy I get from it.

Marathon weekend was also Easter weekend. I got the chance to see the boys (Sam and Bennett). They decorated eggs that I brought over for them. Here is Bennett's, a beautiful creation. Sam had eaten off his decoration before I could snap a pic.

The one thing I did the last day I was there was take some nice pictures of Boston. Something I would never have done had I still lived there. It's so pretty in the spring.

Well, I'm off to enjoy the weekend. We're thinking of going to the BT Cup today, the final of the rugby preimiership league. Then hopefully to pic up our new car which we were going to pick up on Thursday but didn't get the insurance info in time so we're waiting on the postman. Then if we have the car we're going to do some exploration outside the city which I'm quite excited about as we don't get out of the city much. Its such a beautiful country I want to explore it as much as I can. Finally it'll be nice to do some relaxing this weekend.
